Free FoxPro Decompiler

Could someone please refer me a Free FoxPro decompiler. I am in need of decompiling a .Fxp file and cannot spend $400 to buy Refox just to decompile one file.

Any help or alternate would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know the FoxPro version? Is the .fxp encrypted?

First - do you own the code?

If not then you would be attempting to do an illegal act.

If you do own the code, the first step is to contact the developer and remind them that you paid them for development and you want the source code.

If you do indeed own the code and the developer is no longer around, and if the need is sufficient, then putting out the $$ for Refox is warranted.

Lastly if you do indeed own the code and your need is not sufficient to pay for ReFox, then look to hire a FP/VFP developer.  Most of us have paid to own our own copies of ReFox.

First thank you pcelba and jrbbldr for your time in responding to my post.

a) Yes, I looked at the available list in Foxwikis and found that none but ReFox are useful as the other links are not working. When I looked at this article couple days ago, I thought UnfoxAll should work for me. But, none of the links talking about UnFoxAll are working.

b) To answer Jrbbldr: Yes, honestly, it is a legal code and the programmer who developed is nolonger available. We do have pretty much all the code except one or two files here and there are missing. We are finding that as we investigate in fixing the data errors or while making enhancements to meet the current business needs.

After spending some time in finding right tools that could decompile these .fxp files for which code is missing we finally decided to buy the copy of refox. Given the project schedules and pressing need, we found no other choice but to buy refox although we are using it for decompiling only one file out of 100 or more t this time. And yes, we purchased refox yesterday and continued working on our project.

There is practically NO reliable FREE Decompiler that could be used at this point. Only Paid version of ReFox is the suitable solution

Good chice, Mr. Brebera (Refox author) will appreciate it. :-) To hire VFP developer as jrbbldr suggested would be much cheaper.

BTW, the link to UnfoxAll mentioned on wikis (http://www.woodmann.com/collaborative/tools/index.php/UnFoxAll) works fine and allows to download the software.
