Does it work in reports, Captain? The only way I know is space insertion based on TXTWIDTH().

I would like to have it look like a newspaper column; ie. justified at both ends.

In some of my reports I use multi-columns or boxes for summaries. The user chooses how many columns he wishes. It's so easy in HTML to do <td>Summary<td>. You can color them, highlight search words, apply schemes, backgrounds and the good thing is that the second row starts right after the longest column. HTML worries about that and not you.
