I am in the process of setting up CRM 4 for our company on two servers - one for a test environment and the other for production use. Each server is 32 bit Win 2003 std R2. Both servers are on VMWare. I am trying to get the e-mail router working. I have created an incoming and outgoing profile (and I suspect that this is where the problem/s may lie). When running the 'Test Access' feature I get the following message

The last message sits on the 'testing...' phase for some minutes before timing out.
I've spent way too long on this problem already so any help would be greatly appreciated.
