Unable to Run TMT (Task Managment Tool) reports using CRM 4.0

I am having some issues with generating reports on records that are created within TMT that is based on CRM 4.0 platform. I was told by my support engineer to run downloadsreports.exe and also re-run publish reports. I need a some guidance on how to exactly run these files. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
