I use Microsoft Money for our home accounts and have it syncing with our (2) mobile phones. The idea is that we log all expences during teh month and then Sync back to the PC and reconcile to teh bank. This has worked well, however, yesterday my phone wouldn't sync, so i deleted the partnership (Vista Business & Win Mob 6) re sync the phone, but rather than syncing correctly, it duplicated all the entries on the PC and on my mobile.
I have a backup, but as money backs up when it closes, it wrote over the backup (and yes i know i should have another one)
I have tried creating a backup from my wifes phone. Deleting all the accounts from the PC and resyncing, removing everything from my the mobile. I then restored the data back to her phone and expected it to re-sync back to the PC. Help. I have a PC backup with lots of duplicates on it - can I remove these correctly and easly or can I restore a backup from teh phone back to the PC.
I don't really want to start a new set of accounts as I have a number of memorised Bills and transfers etc. Using the backup from the mobile would be create, but I can't sync or use that backup (.fbak) in Money on the PC
