publisher load file very slow

dear all!
i'm using microsoft office Publisher 2003.when my friend in my office create a new card from his office publisher,he can open it very fast and everything seem fine.
but when he send his file for me,and when i try to open it with my publisher,it's run very slow,and when i use CTRL+ALT+DEL and open task manager,my friend publisher file immediately show up everything.
because we work in the same office so every desktop have the same configuration.
HP pavillon 2.8GHZ 512 MB......
and i've disabled all of my antivirus and before that i had scanned my computer.
