Use publisher to make letterhead template for Word

I have used Microsoft Publisher to create a letterhead for an organization and would like to have it as an online template for microsoft word.  When I try to save the letterhead as a .doc, publisher tells me that it can't include the graphics in the saved documents.  And it's too cumbersone to set the graphics in word.  Any suggestions?

How are you doing?

Could you post your publisher file as an attachment, I can see if I can figure something out.

Did you try saving it as a document template (.dot)? Can you open the publisher file in word and then save it while in word to a template or document, instead of trying to save the publisher file from publisher to a word file.

Well I tried in word, but like I said arranging the logos with any level of precision was a pita.  Here is the pub file.  I would also like to make sure i can set the default printing area so i don't have to carriage return to below the logos at the top.

Okay, iI figured it out, even got the template to use a different page for the cover and subsequent pages.  But when I close the header and footer toolbar, the images go halfscale.  How can i fix that?

IDPInc,

Try adjusting the margins to give the Footer and Header, more room. What you see "in editing" is larger" than what is set for the actual document.

I'm sorry, by half scale I dont mean by size, rather I mean the color goes half scale, not quite watermark, but I think you get the idea.

Ok - so you have it in publisher or in word (as template) in the header/footer, it goes to say 50% transparentcy (you can kind of see through it)?

Can you upload the file as is it is, in question?
