Read Visio text from a visio drawing embedded in an excel spreadsheet, from with in Access

I'm using office 2003, I have been asked to take over and develop and access database. The database is currently used to read in various spreadsheets, manipulate the data and export a spreadsheet.  A new requirement is to be able to read in a spreadsheet with a visio picture embedded in it then use VBA to open the visio picture read the text in the text boxes and use that text to steer the creation of the export spreadsheet.

The text in the visio drawing text boxes is basically a table name and an export file name e.g.

TableName1, TableName2, TableName3, ExportFileName

In summary the idea is use VBA in Access to open Excel read a visio drawing and export data.
