Asked by ids-philip in Microsoft Visio, Windows Vista
I have recently installed Microsoft Visio Professional 2003 then immediately applied all Microsoft Updates. Everything seems to be working correctly *except* I cannot search for shapes from the web. Under TOOLS > OPTION > SHAPE SEARCH the Visio Web Shapes option is selected.
When I perform a search, the local shapes are returned but I received an error message: "1. Visio Web Shapes - Unable to establish an Internet connection. Results are limited to the shapes found on your computer. (To check your search settings, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then view the Shape Search tab.)"
I am running Vista Ultimate 32-bit and Microsoft Office 2007 (which was installed before Visio 2003). I have tried disabling my Antiviurs (Norton Corporate AV) as well as disabling VIsta's UAC, neither of which helped.
