Visio Pasting Items

Hi..

I am copying and pasting an item in a Visio Drawing. Copying it is OK but pasting, it plonks the image slap bang in the middle of a drawing, upsetting all the work flow. Is there a way I can tell the application as to where I want the item to be pasted?
