Cannot open pictures in Outlook 2002 SP3.

Hi,
I have a co-worker that has Outlook 2002 SP3 on a Windows XP Pro SP2 system.  Outlook will not open several pictures enclosed in email messages.  Instead he gets a red x.  What settings do I change to allow these pictures to load?  I know in Outlook 2003 it is under tools, options, the security tab, and then change automatic download settings.  Your help will be appreciated.

Greetings jmattson30 !

Outlook 2002 does not have an option to block images.  The Mlang.dll file may be corrupted.  Run System File Checker to extract the file.

Here is another reason Outlook 2002 may not show images. The message was sent using CMYK color format.

Hi war1

I did not try those suggestions as they pertained to Outlook 2002.  I am using Outlook 2003.
Hi All,

Is there a more pemanent and non registry way to keep the red x from showing in place of pictures?
You need to try the suggestions posted for Outlook 2002.  The article also applies to Outlook 2003.
Hi war1,

The description of the solution pertaining to Outlook 2002 says to replace the Mlang.dll file if using IMO mode and if not using word as my editor.  I am however using word as my editor and the red x still shows up.  Thank you anyway for your suggestion.  I tried using the method that SheharyaarSaahil suggested and it works.  I just wish there was a more permanent solution to this problem.  Since the information that SheharyaarSaahil worked, I am awarding the points to him.

Thanks again for everyones suggestions.
