Creating giants....

Tags: Microsoft, Outlook2007, 2007
How can I change the font of appts. in my outlook calendar?  I can read it fine on my 24" monitor but when I print it off I can barely see what it says.  It must a 7 or less font.  I'd like to use a "giant" font, maybe a 12 for all entries/scheduled appts in my calendar.  Suggestions?

Did you try right-clicking on your calendar?  I am away from my office 2007 pc at the moment, but in 2003 you can right-click the calendar and there is an option for "other settings".  I am not sure if this will make it large on printouts, as I cannot test at the moment and on my screen I didn't notice a change.

I did however just come across this and I will probably get it for myself as it looks like it would be great to have.  My also allow you to do more with your own calendar.

Change the font
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
Click Advanced Options.
Under Appearance Options, click Font.
Select the font and any other options that you want.

Hi There, not sure if this will do the trick.

Try CTRL+SHIFT+F    for the Font
Try  CTRL+SHIFT+P    for the Font Size

Cant remember if that changes only the fonts in emails.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I tried right clicking on the calendar.  I can find areas where I can change the "pre-formated" fields (e.g. Month, day, etc..) as suggested in some of the above responses.  The problem is with the "entered text" which is the description of the meeting and in printing it.  On the screen it looks ok.  but when I print it, I need a magnifying glass to read it.  If I print off my calendar to know who/when/where my next meeting is, I have tremendous difficulting ready my print out.   You can see it if you just do a print preview, also.  I must use a 6 or 7 font for the "entered text" area of the applciation.

While you are viewing your calendar, can you go to file>page setup>Calendar details?

There are options to change font there as well.   Sorry, I can't be very clear as I am trying to do this through 2003.  Did you look at the add-in I posted above?
