Try applying the SP1, if have seen a similar with somebody else and asked them to apply SP1, well i don't the result yet, but hopefully this should fix it. <br />

I have a customer who installed office 2007on one of thier pc's that I just put a new hard drive into and did a clean install od Windows XP Home, but when they try to attach a file over the network it just freezes up (not responing) However other pc's on the network do not have this problem.
