file associations for an .exe file type

I added an .exe file to a file type association and when I open the lcoation and click on it, it appears as though the system is autoamtically adding a value of %1 after the exe.

This is causing problems . I am not sure how it gets there but I do know that it needs to be "%1" (with double quotes).

I can add them manually but how do I get it to add that value automatically?Start Free Trial
