if you delete the drivers directory
you have to reinstall each drive
which may not be a bad thing
if one of the drivers is locking
up the spooler..

can you delete the print spooler?
I have been try to restart my print spooler when do command it says.This service can not be started, either because it has been disabiled, or no enabled device associated with it.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool
delete everything except the drivers directory
