filtering business data catalog (BDC) data by date

I'd like to use the date filter web part to filter my BDC data.  Specifically I'd like to provide both a beginning date filter and an end date filter.  Ideally these would work in conjunction to the default filters that work on a Business Data List.  So I'm guessing the date fields would have to be passed to the XML file, then read into the SQL statement for the returned results to reflect the date constraints.

A tutorial or detailed description and/or code samples of how to do this would be huge!Start Free Trial
