I have a couple laptops that are experiencing latency while working in an Access database. Primarily when they are typing into a field or when they are arrowing through the records. My first thought was their network connection (since this database is stored on a server and accessed over the network). So I had them bring the laptop to my office to try it out. My personal computer does not experience near as much latency as theirs does. I hooked up the laptop, ensured that it was not working over wireless, and still experienced latency while working with this database.
The only other thought I have is perhaps system resources/hardware, and that perhaps my machine is just that much faster then theirs. However, it seems there may be something else at play here since the laptop that I was testing with has similar specs. Anyone else had this issue? Any thoughts? Thank you.
