It seems that your SCCM server does not have the right to read AD.

Try changing the account on the bottom and try.

Hi,

After applying the above mentioned setting . problem still exists. i did the right click to the selected computer & installed the client.Still in the client column it shows No. & Client Activity column nothing it shows.

Please help

JCT
remove the entry there and re add it.

I mean the place where you select the area from where to read the AD.
Also create a domain admin level account and use this in the account place to test. if it works then we can check more.

Hi,

I will refer the above link. Can you please tell do I need to make any changes in the settings.
I can ping the client computers by name & also by IP. But in the client column its shows NO.

Regards,

JCT
Client column shows no because a client is not installed.

copy this folder to one XP computer and run ccmsetup.exe

\\<MySCCMServerName\SMS_<MySiteName>\Client

say sccm1\SMS_PR1\client

If you see the client in control panel then it will show up in SCCM in some time.
Client showing NO is not called detection.

ASKER

Hi,

When i running the \\sccm01\sms_hq1\client\ccmsetup.exe in windows 7 pc nothing comes up after clicking ccmsetup.exe.

I can see the clinet in the device options but in device collections the client column is showing NO. even i did the pushing also. but of no use

Jct
there would be a file called ccmsetup.log in System32\Ccmsetup

Please upload it here.

Hi,

Even i can access \\computername\admin$ from the SCCM 2012 server.

Jct
That does not guarantee a client install. You may be able to but is the client account set to install the client able to?

I answered 18 times. Your current level is way too low to manage SCCM on your own.
