Have you cut the power to server totally? Turn Off the server then pull power then try.

I am trying to run Hyper-V in a x3650 with no luck. I installed Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Edition.
I have tried everything in every forum, blog, etc available. Intel Virtualization Technologies is ENABLED in BIOS. (It came enable by default).
Serverguide 8.1.01 gave me trouble during install, so I installed directly using the Windows CD. I dont know if theres some driver missing that I didnt notice.

Do you have a option in your BIOS for virtual? What processor do you have?

Make sure your BIOS settings are correctly set. There are other that need to be set also other than VR in the BIOS.
Also make sure all services related are started - is there any errors in the vent log?
