Crystal Reports v11 is not supported on 64 bit Windows Server 2008. Can I use Hyper-V to install 32 bit Server 2003 and then install/run my Crystal 11 on that?

Sorry, i left something out in my initial inquiry.
This server will be use as Terminal server also.
These reports need to be run live throughout the day and extract current data. It isn't a matter of not being able to view existing reports. Crystal will need to be installed on the server. The problem is that v11 has some dll's that won't run on 64 bit. So i was thinking that i could do it inside a 32 bit OS in Hyper-V.
Yes you can do that no problem, you will need to make sure you are properly licensed for the operating system installation though. I would strongly advise not to put anything else on the terminal server and leave it as a standalone terminal server.
This is speaking of the hyper-v side, i am no expert with crystal reports but i am with terminal server.

I appreciate that i need licensing in place for the OS that i put on the VM.
These Crystal Reports are not reports that have been, for example, run overnight and are then available for all to view durring the day. They must be executed with refreshed SQL data many times during the business day. Some of these require additional functions other than would be available with just the run time files.
So you are just viewing reports. You only need to load the run times.

Why are you trying to install Crystal on the server?
Crystal should be installed on the report developer's machine. You need only install the runtimes on the server for others to view reports.
