Browse All TopicsHi
I'm trying to install ESXi 4.0 on a Dell Poweredge 2850. I have checked the requirements and the HCL and all is compatible. (Dual Core Xeon 3.00ghz, 4GB RAM)
Basically i can get passed all the initial module loading etc. and i get to the yellow and grey screen. once i go through all those options like selecting a drive etc the loading bar comes up.
My problem is that the installer just hangs on different percentages and doesnt carry on despite leaving for along time, it just doesnt budge.
The server is using a Raid5 Array.
I have tried to install 3.5 which does install fine but now im at a dead end on technical solutions for this product. Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
