Why would a server drop from a domain

I have VM server that just stop communicating on the network. We cannot ping this server from anylocation or ping out from this server.
We are getting an event error - There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. This could be because the NIC card is not processing any request.

I added another NIC to the VM and still the same problem
