Virtual Server 2005 drop down options

One of my installtions of Virtual Server 2005 R2 is not letting me change options on the VM's. If I go to configure a vm and try to assign a NIC or a vhd file I can see the options on the drop down list but they are underlined and when I try to select one it just go back to the default selection.

The server is running the Ent 64 bits version of Server 2003. All the minimum hardware requirments are exceeded. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
