Cannot connect to dbase database through ODBC on a Windows 2000 web server
We have an ASP page running on a Windows 2000 server. The ASP page connects to a dbase database with the following code.
set dbconnection = server.createobject("adodb .connectio n")
dbconnection.open("City_MG _Dbase")
Under the system tab of ODBC on the Windows 2000 web server, we have created "City_MG_Dbase". It points to the folder that contains that dbase databases. It used the driver "Microsoft dbase driver" version 4.00.6200.00.
When we run the script we get the following errors:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
Here's the puzzling thing. This all used to work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
