Page life cycle with AJAX?

What does the ASP.NET 2.0 page life cycle look like with an AJAX (XMLHttpRequest) call that isn't using any framework.   This is a straight AJAX call and response.

Also, what the different methods of calling the AJAX object in IE6, IE7 and FF1.5/2?Start Free Trial
