How to create Common Application Data Folder with .NET

I am trying to store some data accessed by .NET application, common to all users.
When using the Create Special Folder/Common Application Data from setup and deployment project, i do not see the folder created on XP machine on installation.
Am I missing anything ? Is it different on Vista?

Please point me if there is a better way to do it.
