The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. populate combobox in a datagridview in vb.net

Hi Experts,

I'm sorry I thought I had this sorted but when I came to put all the snipets of code together that I received from other questions it went badly wrong so I really need to go from scratch to get my head round this as I'm pretty new to vb.net and would like to do some more advanced coding. Well advanced for me at the moment.

My question is that I have a datagridview with a column called description which is set as a text box and a combobox called quantity.

The quantity combobox is populated from a variable depending on the quanity set. Lets say I want the grid to look something like this: -

row 1: -

Text box says: "Trousers" combobox has the data:       "1"
                                          "2"
                                          "3"
                                          "4"
                                          "5"
                                          "6"

row 2: -

Text box says: "Shirt" combobox has the data:             "1"
                                          "2"
                                          "3"

row 3: -

Text box says: "Shirt" combobox has the data:             "1"
                                          "2"

Once the datagrid view is populated it will need to show the last number of each combobox as default in the combobox. ie,

row 1 : 6
row 2 : 3
row 3 : 2

How would I code this please. I'm sure when I get the jist of how they work it just a case of getting a complete example.

I would apprectaite your help.
