.NET VB 2005 Deployment - How can I install program to a specific drive and path

Asked by compubyte-sa in Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Basic.Net

Tags: , , , ,

When using the publish option in Visual Studio 2005 (VB) it creates a setup for the program. When this setup is executed the program resides in some obscure directory. How can I get it to keep the files in the drive and directory of my choice?

An icon is also created in the start icon (all programs) how can I have the icon also appear on the desktop.

Lastly how can I get the setup to also copy certain files from another directory to the install directory of my choice.

Thanking you in advance
