Trying to insert a table in a word 2003 document from VB .Net 2005

I am trying to insert a table into a word document, but I can't seem to get the table to insert at the right spot.
the line that reads as

oWord.ActiveDocument.Tables.Add(oWord.ActiveDocument.Range(4),6, 7)

Is giving me headaches.
I've tried every variation I could find, but i get errors like:
'Range' is not a by reference property.
Or the table appears in the middle of the text.
