Browse All TopicsI created a package to import data from production to development database and here are the logic:
a) Truncate all tables in development database
b) Copy data from all tables from production database to development database
(I excluded all the tables that are having BLOB data type such as text, ntext, image)
c) If success, send e-mail notification
d) If failure, send e-mail notification
I schedule the package and it failed with insufficient information. I cannot find information such as:
a) Tables that have been successfully imported or copied from production database
b) Tables that are giving problem and cannot be imported or copied from production database
Please help me to solve the problem and how to get the above information.

>>How to find the specific table? <<
Don't move them all at once. Try only selecting half, if it succeeds, then you know the problem is in the other half. Repeat until you have narrowed it down to a more manageable quantity.
>>How to change the log to run history?<<
In the Package Properties, select "Logging" and add a file in "Error file". This may provide additional info.
