Question

SQL 2000 replication software

I am looking for software that will replicate the sql 2000 data for a backup database server. Merge replication and transactional do not work due to them adding fields to our data tables. Log shipping will not work because we use sql2000 std and enterprise is too expensive. I need something reasonably priced that will keep the database on a standby server in a remote location up to date (within a few hours at least) of the primary server. We also have some servers that are sql2005 std and need the software to be compatible with sql2005 also if possible.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

did u try Quest's Litespeed ?

Also you can create a job which backups the log to a network share , and at the end restores the log
