Question

The report server cannot decrypt the symmetric key

I have just run my report  which views a cube and the browser is reading the following error:

The report server cannot decrypt the symmetric key used to access sensitive or encrypted data in a report server database. You must either restore a backup key or delete all encrypted content. Check the documentation for more information. (rsReportServerDisabled) (rsRPCError)

I am not sure what  to do.

where do I find the Reporting Services Configuration Manager

start -> Program files -> SQL server 2005 -> Configuration tools -> Surface aArea Configration

use serface area configuration for services and connections. select reporting services and press start
