SSRS Date filter Current Month

I am looking to filter for Current month.  I know how to do last 30 days getdate() -30  
But how do I do it  from the beginning of the month to current day
it also has a time stamp so i want to make sure 

WHERE     (SOAgentOrder.DateAdded >= CONVERT(DATETIME, '2009-10-01 00:00:00', 102))

I did try it out not returning the same numbers   I am using a static filter now.   for current month

Try this one:

WHERE     (SOAgentOrder.DateAdded >= DATEADD(m,DATEDIFF(m,0,CURRENT_TIMESTAMP),0))

Not sure why you're getting different numbers, as the code I posted extracts dates for the current month and year.

@simon_kirk,

Your code would have worked, but you had used the MONTH function instead of YEAR on that last condidtion.


WHERE (MONTH(SOAgentOrder.DateAdded) = MONTH(GETDATE())) AND (YEAR(SOAgentOrder.DateAdded ) = MONTH(GETDATE()))

WHERE (MONTH(SOAgentOrder.DateAdded) = MONTH(GETDATE())) AND (YEAR(SOAgentOrder.DateAdded ) = Year(GETDATE()))
