What type of image can be store in SQL Server 2000 database

I have a requirement to store tif images into SQL Server 2000 database and the size is about 50KB.  So should I use image data type for it and what are the issues that I need to aware when handling images.

As long as you can load them in a blob field, I haven't seen any problem.

Image is fine to hold them.
