DTS - fails creating a table

A case of WOKOMS (Works OK On My System).

A DTS package with a truncate statement fails (truncate is DDL of course). So what privileges is my user missing? She has used Windows authentication. We switched to SQL Authentication and it works, but I would like to know what user the DTS runs as (she was able to truncate using Windows authenticated connection to a query analyzer). A bit of a puzzle. I am having a bit of trouble getting accurate answers from my customer (who is 500 miles away of course) so I may not have answers to all the questions you ask, but I will award points for thoughtful ideas that I can use in my 10am meeting!
