Question
SQL Server Setup could not connect to the database service for server configuration...
I'm currently trying to install MS SQL Server 2005 on our windows 2003 server for testing. Unfortunately, it seems a connection can't be made to the server in order to configure it. I keep receiving the following error:

SQL Server Setup could not connect to the database service for server configuration. The error was: [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]TCP Provider: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

What could be causing it and how do I fix it? I would really appreciate any help.
