Browse All TopicsHello,
I am one of a team of developers working with SQL Server in my company - all the other developers can see diagrams in the diagrams folder of specific databases, but i cannot.
Any ideas if there's any options etc that i can turn on/ off to make the diagrams appear on my computer? I know the diagrams are there because I can see them on my colleague's computers. To clarify - i can see the database diagram folder, the diagram icon, but when i open the diagram, it is a blank page.
Thanks in advance,
mcg

Sorry, am in the UK so takes a while to get your answers :)
In reverse order:
3) all using same version of SQL 2000
2) Can see the icons of the diagrams and can double click to open the diagrams, but no design is visible inside
1) The zoom function brings up no options whatsoever to zoom in or out.
Confusing isn't it?
cheers so far,

are there any special things to know about the diagrams?
- upgraded from SQL 7>2k
- do you get any messages (maybe in event or sql logs)
- is the problem user or machine specific? (if you log on the your coworkers machine with your account, do they show up? if your coworker logs on to your machine, do they show?)
Actually, there are many possibilities on this. Most of the time you've hosed your copy of SQL tools. One possibility is the installation of .NET or VB on your machine:
http://support.microsoft.c
Other microsoft products that use the MMC snapin have cause the same problem as well.
