CONVERT OR FORMAT DATE w/Timestamp to MM/DD/YYYY

Hello,

     I have an issue and I cant figure it out. I have a date column that shows as 8/30/2002 in MSSQL. When I export it to a txt file it shows as 2002-08-30 00:00:00. I need the date to show as MM/DD/YYYY or YYYYMMDD aftert I export the data to a TXT file. I cant export to excel and do the conversion because its over 140000 records long. I am exporting the MSSQL table to a text file to be imported to my AS400. I really need this fixed! Please Help.
