How to search for a keyword/value in an entire database WITHOUT defining column name

Hi All:

I am aware that using LIKE or CONTAINS(assuming you have it indexed) you can locate a keyword/value in an entire database.

My problem is, I don't know WHERE my keyword is located and the table in question is roughly 1GB in size with seemingly unlimited columns. I know you are all gonna say bad design, relational theory blabla...

I know! I didn't make it! My job is to give the user search capability at this point. I need a quick and dirty solution that would search the entire database (there are like 20 tables, I don't know if the keyword is to be located on a specific table) for a specific keyword/value. To be more specific:

1) I want a solution that browses an entire DB for a keyword/value
2) I want a solution that browses an entire table for a keyword/value WITHOUT defining columnname.

Both requests once locate the keyword shoudl give that ENTIRE row back (select *)
