The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

I have used the following query to plot our router traffic for a while now:

select DateTimeStamp, [in], Interface
      from TBLROUTERMON_VALUE
      where datetimestamp > dateadd(n,-120,getdate())
order by dateTimeStamp desc

However, I now have to accommodate two interfaces.  The above query would return data like this:

2006-06-07 09:39:13.317      100.66796875         19
2006-06-07 09:38:53.113      104.7431640625      19
2006-06-07 09:38:34.550      103.7958984375      19
2006-06-07 09:38:14.333      96.708984375         19
2006-06-07 09:37:54.083      96.6259765625       19
......

The same query now returns data like this:

2006-06-07 09:43:33.550      81.314453125      20
2006-06-07 09:43:33.550      89.1728515625      19
2006-06-07 09:43:13.317      87.6279296875      20
2006-06-07 09:43:13.317      89.5361328125      19
2006-06-07 09:42:55.053      86.0302734375      20
2006-06-07 09:42:55.053      98.666015625      19
2006-06-07 09:42:34.537      77.783203125      20
......

I need a way of adding the two interface values together so one value is returned i.e. This:
2006-06-07 09:43:33.550      81.314453125      20
2006-06-07 09:43:33.550      89.1728515625      19
Would be:
2006-06-07 09:43:33.550           170.4873046875         DUAL(?)

Cheers
