Peerpol's answer is probably your culprit, but you should also check in the SQL Server properties, under the security tab, that authentication there is set to "SQL Server and Windows NT".

When you create DSN, you need to specify 'With SQL Server Authentication' option and provide username/password for accessing your database.
Or: If you use 'With Windows NT Authentication', the current windows login needs to have permission to access your database.
