SQL 2000: Database Properties Question

The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Current Configuration:
SQL Server 2000 SP4
Hosting Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 database
   db_MSCRM

Observation:
SQL Enterprise Manager
 -> (navigate to db) db_MSCRM
   -> properties of db_MSCRM

The following are the observations under the specific DB Properties folder tabs:
  Data Files (tab):
      Filename                     Location                                                                                            Space Allocated (MB)
      db_MSCRM                 c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\db_MSCRM.mdf       2034
      db_MSCRM_1_Data     D:\SQL_Server\db_MSCRM.mdf                                                            1364

  Transaction Log (tab):
     db_MSCRM_log           c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\db_MSCRM_log.ldf    1
     db_MSCRM_1_log       D:\SQL_Server\db_MSCRM.ldf                                                               2731

And the listings of the files in Windows Explorer (date 8.17.06):
    C: drive
    master.mdf                  2,732,160 KB     8/2/2006
    db_MSCRM.mdf           2,082,688 KB     8/2/2006

    D: drive
    db_MSCRM_Log.ldf      2,796,032 KB     8/13/2006
    db_MSCRM.mdf           1,396,544 KB     8/2/2006

    Backup db file:
    db_MSCRM_tlog_200608130003.trn  3,088,502 KB  8/17/2006

Toubleshooting Scenario:
I have encountered some challenges with the db in the past and believe it has been narrowed down to this duplicate listing and path structure in the properties of the db.  For example, I could detach the db with the wizard, but, could not attach with the wizard as it listed duplicates.  Thus I had to attach with the script.  The dilemma with this is that I can not move the db to another non-production server to develop.

QUESTION:
Can someone confirm what it is I am seeing with the duplicated paths etc.?
Can someone recommend what path listing I can deleted to confirm this error?

Any other input would be greatly appreciated as I have a "growing" knowledge of SQL Server:)  Thanks for the support in advance.
