If I have:
With ResultName AS
( ... )
The very next statement I can select from this result set, however, if I try and issue another statement immediately thereafter on the same result set, I get an error, like it no longer exists. Is the result set destroyed after the initial request against it?
Also, is it possible to do any type of logic conditional statements thereafter? I get syntax errors if after my CTE I try and do something like:
IF @Var = 0
SELECT * FROM ResultName WHERE ...
ELSE
SELECT * FROM ResultName WHERE ...
