The Solution Rating System

  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. A quick n' easy 500 pts! Copy DB from SQL <---> ....

Hi EE folks,

I need to copy the our DBs over to new install, since we are going to reinstall the old server..

So quick queatuion is, you have 3 choices in the Wiz:

1) Copy table(s) and view(s) from the source database

2) Use a query to specify the data to transfer

3) Copy objects and data between SQL Server databases

I need to copy ALL/THE WHOLE DB's  over to the other SQL server  (Oh! FIY it's 2000 SQL ent. ed)
