Slow performance with SQL 2005  - may be authentication issue.

Asked by bbaldwin in MS SQL Server, Active Directory

I am having bad problems with performance of my newly configured SQL 2005. I am accessing data with an Access application. It almost looks like I am having an authentication problem. Is there something special I have to do to make the SQL Server part of the Active Directory to authenticate faster? Is there something else I am might be missing to make the server work better with the Active Directory server?

I did a SQL Trace and the Audit Logouts are taking very long but from what I have been reading, it does not look like that is a problem.

My Access application is running from the AD server. Start Free Trial
