MSSQLSERVER Error 824

Hi there,

I have a customer that has tried to rename his server and change his IP address on
a Win 2003 R2 server running SQL 2005

This caused a product called dynamic running on SQL to crash.

We have restored the database and have moved the server back to its original name
and IP address.

We now get this error every 30 mins indicating an issue.

Can someone explain this issue and a way of solving if before I attempt a
(DBCC CHECKDB)

This is a severe error condition that threatens database integrity and must be corrected immediately. Complete a full database consistency check (DBCC CHECKDB). This error can be caused by many factors; for more information, see SQL Server Books Online.
