Hi Moa81, this is weird, i do it and it says that no errors were returned but the services cannot be started.

then go to start and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Manager and start the Server
does it start from there
any error?
can you access any database through any ODBC or something
I mean we need to see more signs so we can judge the problem

is it automatic or manual
if manual
can u start the server
any other signs that you can provides for more details
