The Solution Rating System

Grouping with Sequential Numbers

I need to add a sequential number to a group of documents, I have tried a few methods found on the web, but haven't had any luck. I'd like to add a column to these SQL2000 results

EMP_NUMBER,NAR_USER,NAR_DATE,NAR_NAR,NAR_TIME
1234,JUSER,2007-06-20,BUNCH OF TEXT FIRST,10:00:00
1234,NUSER,2007-06-22,BUNCH OF TEXT SECOND,12:00:00
1234,AUSER,2007-06-23,BUNCH OF TEXT THIRD,09:00:00
4321,AUSER,2007-06-10,MORE TEXT,05:00:00
