How do i select from one table depending on the count of records in another table?

In the example below I want to select a variety of fields from "tbl_linkssubcategory" and "tbl_links" but ONLY if there are 1 or more records in "tbl_links".

Is this possible with 1 query?

SELECT tbl_linkssubcategory.SubCategoryName AS Name, tbl_linkssubcategory.CategoryDesc AS Description, tbl_links.ItemID
FROM tbl_linkssubcategory INNER JOIN
tbl_links ON tbl_linkssubcategory.SubCategoryID = tbl_links.SubCategoryID
WHERE (tbl_linkssubcategory.ParentCategoryID = @ParentCategoryID)
ORDER BY Name
