VERY slow database after restore on better hardware

Hi,

I'm about to move a large database from an old server to a brand new one with more ram, more cpu power and a SAN attached. Now, this sounds good, but when I run tests the result is not as good as on the old server.
Looking at the profiler I see that the number of reads is WAY bigger on the new server.

I transfered the data by restoring a backup of the DB from the old server + a couple of transaction logs.

Do I need to do something in order to update indexes or something?
